Kerolaina Linkevica (they/them)

 

I was born in Daugavpils, Latvia and migrated to the UK at ten years old. My childhood was deeply rooted in the forest, folk magic and a multiverse of computer games, which inform my mixed-media practice in London today.

Through exploration of subcultures, animism and imaginal worlding, I re-imagine these ways of being via new media technologies. As an act of counter-history I wish to bring light to silenced narratives that have been written out of patriarchal dogma or not yet comprehensively presented from the inside.
