 I was born in Daugavpils, Latvia and migrated to the UK at the age of 10. My childhood was deeply rooted in the forest, animism and folklore which continues to inform my experience, practice and research in UK today.

 

Through my multi-disciplinary art practice I express an imaginal world which is populated by myriad creatures, each personifying a range of theories, mythos and emotional histories, continuously evolving and flourishing through the ecology of my imagination. My works seek to inspire my audience to explore their own inner worlds. I am currently exploring theories regarding personal transformation, animism and spiritual metaphysics.
